  • Important News about Continued School Closures (4/1/20)

    In coordination with the Ventura County Public Health Officer, Dr. Robert Levin, and all Ventura County Superintendents, PVSD will extend campus closures through the end of the school year. The decision comes after recommendations from California Governor Gavin Newsom and California Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond for schools to continue providing distance learning in lieu of in-class instruction for the remainder of the school year.

    We appreciate the outpouring of support we have received. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the questions and concerns that arise with the closures. It is our promise to continue working with our Board, union, and colleagues across the state to best serve the children of PVSD.

  • Measure C Fiscal Year 18-19 Annual Report

    The Measure C Citizens' Oversight Committee (COC) respectfully submit the annual report to the residents, voters and taxpayers of the Pleasant Valley School District. This report fulfills the requirement that the School District Board of Trustees form an independent COC, and that this committee report to the public on the proper expenditure of bond funds at least once annually. This report covers expenses in the time frame of September 2018 to June 30, 2019.
