Fridays are my favorite days at Tierra Linda because our campus is always buzzing with parent volunteers! Thank you so much to everyone who is finding ways to connect with our campus!
Thank you for sending us such enthusiastic student leaders! This week almost 200 3rd-5th Grade students signed up to participate in Tierra Linda Community Council! We are so excited to watch them grow our school community with their talents and commitment to excellence!
I'd like to also extend a thank you to several parents who have reached out to me since the start of school with fun ideas to support student learning and social growth on our campus. Please keep the ideas coming. This is our school and your input is greatly appreciated!
Thank you to everyone who attended the PTA Association meeting this week! It is always such a great opportunity to pull together and get input from our families on the various events and activities on campus!
I am also so happy to hear all the parents dropping off volunteer forms! There is nothing better than watching our students light up when their family member comes on campus.
I want to take a moment to recognize the following members of our School Site Council who have served for the last two years. Thank you Mr. Cook, Mrs. Rivera and Ms. Thanasko!
Please CLICK HERE to nominate yourself or a friend to fill one of the vacancies on this important group. The School Site Council analyzes school data and helps make important decisions about how we spend our school budget. We'd love to have you!
Last week, we met with 2nd - 5th Grade students to talk about expectations on campus, and let them know all the places they can get help if they need it. We were so impressed with their attentiveness and participation. Thank you for sending your child to school each day ready to learn and make positive contributions to our school community!
All students will be dismissed at 2:25 pm each day
Please plan to walk or carpool as much as possible. When you do need to pick up or drop off through the parking lot, we ask that you are kind and patient with each other.
The line usually takes about 10 minutes to get through, if we all work together!
