Welcome & Classroom Information

  • Children should bring a backpack, a snack, and an extra set of clothes on the first day of school (diapers and wipes for those still potty training). Please label all your child's belongings with their name. Email is the most effective way to get a hold of me if I don't see you at drop off/pick up. Feel free to email me at any time with questions/comments you may have. About Me My name is Tammy Yasutake (children can call me Ms. Tammy) and I have been teaching Special Education Preschool classes for the past 17 years in PVSD. I love the little ones!! Before coming to Pleasant Valley School District, I spent 5 years in Santa Ana Unified School District. I have a Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology with an added Credential to teach Special Education in the classroom. I am married and have 3 boys ranging in age from 11-21 (so needless to say we spent many hours after school on the soccer field, at the Tae Kwan Do studio, on the golf course, and wherever else the boys take us in their adventures). I enjoy being active in sports, spending time with my family, and dinner out with friends.
