The Pleasant Valley School District will extend the suspension of normal district operations through Friday, May 1st in an effort to support our nation's need to slow the transmission of COVID-19/coronavirus.
The state of California requires that school districts administer physical fitness tests to all 5th, 7th and 9th grade students enrolled in school. PVSD will begin administering these tests in the coming weeks. Please click the Physical Fitness Test letter link above to view the parent letter containing more details.
All PVSD schools are closed through at least Friday, May 1, 2020. We hope to return on May 4, 2020. The district will be in touch with families during the week of April 27, 2020 regarding any closure extensions. Food Service is available to childen 18 and under. Children must be present in order for meals to be provided. Starting on Monday, March 23rd, students will be able to pick up lunch and breakfast for the following day between 11:00-1:00. Food will be distributed at the following sites:
Las Posas Elementary located at 75 Calle La Guerra
Pleasant Valley School of Engineering and Arts located at 700 Temple Ave
Rancho Rosal Elementary located at 3535 Village at the Park
