The transportation safety plan contains the procedures to ensure the safe bussing of students. The plan addresses the following: when students require an escorted crossing, procedures for students to follow as they board and exit the appropriate schoolbus at each student’s schoolbus stop, boarding and exiting a schoolbus at a school or other trip destination, procedures to ensure that a student is not left unattended on a schoolbus, and more.
