Dear Parents, Students and Friends - It is an honor to become a member of the Dos Caminos Community. During these past several weeks, I have had many interactions with parents, faculty, and students. From these conversations, it is clear there is a collegial partnership between all stakeholders to provide the best possible academic experience for DCS students. I look forward to fostering these relationships and working with the faculty to provide a world-class educational experience for each child. Click here to read full letter
What a year we have planned! I am very proud to serve as principal of Dos Caminos as it has always been a special place for me. As noted in my introduction letter, I attended preschool at Dos Caminos Park and have fond memories of playing on the DCS playground as a child. This is going to be an outstanding year and I would like to thank you in advance for all of the support on your end to help make this school an exceptional place for children. PVSD will have extended, staggered day programs in Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten. We will be spending the first three weeks of school getting to know your child so that we can create the best academic environment. In order to ease your child into school and provide individual times for assessment, we have a transition schedule - Click here for full letter. A copy of this letter and schedule has been sent to each TK and K household via US mail.
Would your family be interested in a tour of Dos Caminos led by Mr. Waggoner? Please join us on Friday, August 23rd at 10:00 am.
