CJSF is asking families for gently used children's books (for ages 5 and younger) to donate to First 5, in support of their reading initiative. Please help spark the love of reading in a young child. Donations will be accepted now through April 26th. See flyer for more details.
CAASPP state testing will take place May 6th through May 16th each morning. Please plan ahead to ensure that students are present each day and that appointments are not scheduled during these times. We thank you in advance for your support.

The Career Education Center of the Ventura County Office of Education presents their 2019 Career Exploration Summer Camps! Camps are open to incoming 6th-12th graders and will be held during the month of July at both of our CEC locations and on high school campuses throughout the county. In an effort to be accessible to parents and community members who have an interest in knowing more about Monte Vista Middle School, we are pleased to announce that our school offers monthly tours. Visitors will meet the Principal and see the campus in action. They will be given information regarding instructional programs, electives, schedules and registration. Monte Vista Tour dates are: April 26th, and May 17th. Tours begins promptly at 9am and will last between 45min to an hour.
