We hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving Break.  We are thankful for the wonderful and supportive SRTMS school community.

End of the Trimester:  The end of the trimester is December 6.  Make sure to remind your child to give his/her best effort as classes wrap up projects and testing.  It’s critically important that middle school students turn in any late work that their teachers will still accept.

ASB Stuff-A-Bus Food Drive – The ASB will be collecting non-perishable canned food from December 2-17.  The class with the most food collected wins a prize.  ASB members will collect the cans from each class daily.

Donation Request- We are looking for donations of potting soil to replenish our garden boxes.  If you would like to donate, please e-mail me at

Girls Scout Holiday Gift Drive – One of our local Girl Scout troops, based at SRTMS, will be conducting a toy drive from December 2-13.  We will have collection boxes out in front of the school.  Please bring your unwrapped gifts to the collection boxes to help bring joy to those children who are less fortunate.

PTO Afterschool Classes – After school classes continue this week.

    Middle School Sports

Football: Game Monday, December 2 at LPSSA and Wednesday, December 4 at home.

Volleyball: Games at PVSEA on Tuesday, December.

Camarillo Christmas Parade:  We are looking for five to eight volunteers that would like to walk in the Camarillo Christmas Parade and represent SRTMS on December 14, 2019.  The route is just under two miles long.  You’ll need to make sure your child can easily walk that distance.  We will meet at Los Primeros at 9 AM and the parade starts at 10 AM.  We are usually done by 11 AM. Permission slips were sent out in an attachment as part of the Weekly Update.
