The PVSD Standing Ovation Recognition Program honors employees who demonstrate excellence in work performance, school and community involvement, leadership and commitment to our District and students.

This user friendly program allows anyone (employee, vendor, parent, etc.) to recognize the achievements of one or a team of our employees.  Not all employees that are nominated will be given an award. The employees that are nominated and formally recognized are those that went above and beyond their regular schedule duties and they must be in good standing.  At the end of the month the employee, person that submitted the nomination and supervisor, will receive an email notification informing them of the nomination, a certificate of recognition, and be acknowledged in the monthly HR newsletter.

Standing Ovation (Continuous) Recognizing Year Round Excellence

Use this tool to recognize individuals for their excellent contributions.  Recognition messages may be submitted by anyone including an employee's supervisor, co-worker, subordinate, customer, parent, etc.. The recognition form can be completed online.

The Big Ovation  (Two Times a year) July-Dec & Jan-June

A committee will review all Standing Ovation recognitions that have been endorsed by their supervisors to identify one outstanding employee/s for the big Ovation.

The selected employee/s will be publicly recognized either at a Board Meeting, Personnel Commission meeting, or both. Individuals will receive certificates identifying them as outstanding employees, and will be featured on the District website and other public venues.

Recipients must be permanent active employees in good standing with the Pleasant Valley School District.
