Technology FAQs for Staff
There are three ways you can get help with technology:
1) Click here to visit our Technology Services Helpdesk and submit a ticket with your request.
This is the preferred method for requesting help.
2) Call our Helpdesk Hotline at (805) 389-2110.
3) Send an email to email@example.com from your PVSD District email account and a ticket will automatically be created for you. If you have a question specific to our Q Student Information System, you may also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Navigate to https://outlook.office.com/ and log in using your full email address and usual computer login password.
Also, you may visit the https://www.pleasantvalleysd.org website, click on the Staff header/link at the top of the page, and then click on the Outlook Web Access quick link button.

Please note that this page is geared toward college but may have some useful tips for us here at PVSD. Please keep in mind that PVSD has sent out instructions and protocols for how WE will be utilizing Zoom for distance learning meetings, and the PVSD instructions supersede anything posted on this external link. (i.e., This link offers ideas for recording lectures, etc. - at PVSD you must follow our guidelines with regard to recordings.)

Employees must confirm at least two items of personal information from the parent before giving the student's password. This is best done over the phone. Please DO NOT email account information to a student or parent directly.
You can login to the District Website by visiting https://www.pleasantvalleysd.org and clicking "Sign In" at the bottom.
You will use your District assigned computer/network username and password to login, and edit your website/teacher page.
Username: Flastname (First Initial, Last Name)
Password: (Your current computer/email password)
Note: If you are having issues logging in, and require a password reset, this will reset your password for logging into your district laptop, Q SIS, email, and the website. Please make sure you are entering the password correctly.
