"Excellence Begins And Ends With Transportation"
The Transportation Department is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of Special Education students required by law. If your child requires special education services, contact the Special Education office.
In addition, any remaining seats may be used to transport regular education students, called Space Available busing. This is a free service to families attending their neighborhood school, living a greater distance away, or separated by a railroad crossing or highway and freeway.
As the COVID-19 situation changes, PVSD will continue to adapt transportation plans to best serve the needs of more families in the safest way possible.
Families must be aware that social distancing protocols will impact the capacity of each school’s buses, resulting in fewer spaces available for riders at the outset of the 2020-21 school year.
At this point in the current environment, it is unclear what social distancing protocols may be in place next school year. To find out if your child's school participates in these supplemental bussing programs, select "Bus Applications" below
The Space Available lottery placement results have been emailed to all applicants who submitted applications between May 1 & May 31st. All applications submitted after May 31st will be sorted by the date received.
Parent-pay busing is a program for families in need of after-school programs as well as for those who attend a school by CHOICE. Due to COVID, no bus applications are available for Parent-Pay busing until further notice.
We have a new app available for all parents who receive transportation. The app allows you to:
