Welcome to first grade! I feel very privileged to be a member of the team here at Rancho Rosal Elementary. I look forward to a wonderful year of working with you and your child to assist him or her in reaching their full potential. I am prepared to create a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment for your child to flourish in. I care a great deal about children and their future. I believe that a comprehensive education, and a strong model of values and morals are the most beneficial aspects of proper development that I as a teacher can provide for your child.

I graduated with honors from California State University at Northridge. I was awarded my Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, and my Professional Clear Multiple Subject Credential. I have had the pleasure of teaching first grade in PVSD since 1997. I have worked hard to become skilled in the ability to teach the fundamentals of academics, interpersonal skills, and personal character development. I am fully committed to my career as a teacher, and to making a positive difference in my students' lives. The foundation of my teaching philosophy is based on respect. My classroom is one of decorum, challenging work, cooperation, and fun!
