Welcome & Classroom Information

  • Class Updates due to school closure:

    Hello Students and Parents,

We are moving to a distance learning model beginning Monday, March 30. I now have a Google Classroom set up for each period.  All students were invided to their classroom. Please be sure to join in order to see lessons and assignments as all lessons and activities will be posted in our new Google Classrooms.  When assignments are completed please make sure to hit "Turn-in" and not "Share".   Please contact me if you have any difficulties or need the class code. Assignments will be posted at the beginning of each week. You will find assignments posted under the "classwork" tab. I will be leaving feedback on assignments.

I am available via email M-F from 8:20-3:30.

This is a new format for all of us so please be flexible and reach out with any questions you may have.

Reminder: Students should go to their Google Classroom to access classwork.

    Thank you,

    Mrs. Bittner

    About Me

I grew up in Minnesota. I came to California after high school to attend Pepperdine University and never left. After earning a Bachelors Degree I attended California Lutheran University to earn my teaching credential and Masters Degree. I have been teaching at Monte Vista since 2001 and really enjoy being there.

I have three children and a dog named Rocky. I enjoy being active with friends but most of my free time is spent playing with my children or watching their events.
