    About Me

I have been teaching science over 16 years. I started teaching in private school and moved to public school in 1999. I have a masters degree in science education from University of La Verne where I also teach a science class once a year. I also work part time teaching for the Ventura County Office of Education in their teacher support program. I teach the CSET training in science for both multiple subject (elementary) and single subject (Middle school and High school) teachers. I have been involved with that program for over two years now. I also am involved with curriculum writing for the county that will provide support for teachers state wide. I have also started writing a series of science books for all the elementary levels. I have completed the books for 3rd and 4th grades and those are being published right now and will be finished in the next few months. The other books will be completed as fast as I can and published when possible this year.  I grew up in Camarillo and went to school at El Descanso, Monte Vista, and Rio Mesa. I am teaching in the class I had science in when I was in Middle School.
