Welcome & Classroom Information
I welcome the opportunity to communicate with both students and parents regarding academic progress. To preserve confidentiality, I will not discuss student progress during class time. Students may arrange to meet with me privately during breaks or after school when necessary. Parents and/or guardians may contact me regarding their student in several ways:
E-Mail: This is the most efficient method of contacting me. My email address is email@example.com
Phone: Call the school and leave a message during school hours. I will return your call as soon as possible, within 24 hours.
Note or Letter: This is the least efficient method of contact. Students often misplace or forget notes to/from the teacher. If you have sent a note to school and I have not responded within a reasonable amount of time, please call or email.
Quiz/Test Correction Procedures:

Log-In info for online textbook access:
Math 8 and 8 Honors - Login to your math textbook using Clever! If you're using your chromebook, click the blue "C" in the top right-hand corner of a webpage, login with Google, then click the "Big Ideas Learning" app. Or, use this link, click "Login as Student" in the top right hand-corner, enter our school name and then follow the above directions: https://clever.com/
Integrated Math 1 - You can also login with Clever! However, in order to not interfere with your LA class login, we have to wait for a couple of weeks until we can access it...stay tuned for updates!
I have an Instagram account to post homework. At the end of each day, I will take a photo of the assignments given that day and will post it to my page. Follow me @Cazier_Math to get homework updates!
Hi! I am Mrs. Cazier and I am so excited to be starting a new school year! I have been here at Monte Vista for 13 years! I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in May 2006 and got married in August 2006. I received my credential from California Lutheran University, in Thousand Oaks, in May 2008 and completed my Master's Degree in Education from CLU in May 2013.
I am looking forward to a very successful year for each of you. Please let me know what I can do to help you reach your goals in mathematics.
