    4/7/2020 Update:

    Hello Room B1 Families!

Hope this all finds you well and healthy as we figure out the new normal of distance learning. Most students have said hello in Zoom or have turned in work.  Please have your child show you that it was turned in through Google Classroom. I am recording the work turned in each day. Please do not hesitate to email me with any questions.

3/25/2020: Parents and students, All assignments will be posted in Google Classroom for you twice weekly to work on throughout the week.

I will be holding a Zoom meeting, 1:00-1:30 each weekday.  The link to the meeting is located in Google Classroom.

Parents-if you have any questions, please email me: lvaldez@pleasantvalleysd.org

    About Me

This is my sixth full time year at Monte Vista. I been apart of the special education community in Ventura County for over 25 years. Originally from New York State, I have lived in Camarillo for 30 plus years. My children have all received special education services from the Pleasant Valley School District so I have experienced both sides of the IEP table. I believe that all children can learn. Not all the same way and not all on the same day. That's why we individualize your child's school program. I look forward to a great school year and working with your family.
