    About Me

Ms. Zeits grew up in Camarillo and attended local middle and high schools where she played soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming and softball. Zeits played Division 1 soccer at Colorado College and then enjoyed a 4-yr professional career in Japan where she learned to speak Japanese. Ms. Zeits has coached soccer, basketball, and flag football at the collegiate, school, and youth competitive and recreational levels. She moved back and has been teaching in Camarillo since 2001, first as a founding teacher at University Preparation School and University Charter Middle School before moving to Monte Vista in 2012 and is very happy to be at a great school with an amazing PE department and staff.

Ms. Zeits received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Colorado College, an Elementary Education teaching certificate from the University of Iowa, and a Masters in Science in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University.

Ms. Zeits has a son and two dogs, Romeo and Fiona. She enjoys staying active, especially mountain biking, hiking, swimming and working out with friends. She also enjoys time spent with family and friends, especially supporting and watching her son play in his activities and sports.
