Mr. Robert Waggoner
Robert Waggoner was born in Nuremberg, Germany and raised in Camarillo, California. He is a product of the Pleasant Valley School District and attended Valle Lindo, Monte Vista, and Rio Mesa High School.
His education includes a Master of Education Degree from University of California Santa Barbara and Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership from California State University Channel Islands.
As a classroom teacher, beginning in 2001, he taught at Valle Lindo, El Descanso and Rancho Rosal. Additionally, he has held various leadership positions including PVSD GATE and Intervention Resource, PVSD GATE Coordinator, and Assistant Principal of Las Colinas Middle School. He became Principal of Tierra Linda Elementary School following the 2011-2012 school year and Dos Caminos in 2019-2020.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Camarillo Ranch Foundation and Board of Directors of the California Association for the Gifted. His wife Michele is a teacher at Mesa Union School in Somis, California and they have two children.
