Mrs. Juanita Castro
I'm so grateful to be a part of the Pleasant Valley School of Engineering and Arts community. I have worked in the Pleasant Valley School District for 15 years, most recently as the Principal at Camarillo Heights STEM Academy. Throughout my years with PVSD, I've held various leadership roles, including Assistant Principal of Monte Vista Middle School and PVSEA. I enjoy reading, teaching, mentoring, and learning.
I value establishing collaborative relationships with our staff and community in order to best serve our young scholars. I believe in providing a positive learning environment, where students, teachers, and families work collaboratively, modeling our expectations and hopes for our students as future leaders of our community. All students are eager and able to learn at the highest level when provided with challenging learning experiences that strike their curiosity. I look forward to leading and learning with our talented Pleasant Valley School of Engineering and Arts teachers, staff, and scholars!
