Hello and Welcome to my class!  I am very excited to have you for the year and I hope this will be an enjoyable and rewarding class for you!  The first thing you should know is that I will do everything within my power to make sure you are successful in this class, but you MUST meet me halfway.

ELA Course Description:  We will  sharpen reading comprehension skills, engage readers in literary analysis, and offer  a variety of literature.  The class focuses on the following areas Literature; Composition; Grammar, Usage and Mechanics; and Vocabulary.

History Course Description: We as a class will be exploring the social, cultural, and technological changes that occurred in the Eastern Hemisphere during the years 3,000 B.C.E - 500 C.E. 

In Art History, we study the art and architecture of cultures around the world and across the millennia. We take a variety of approaches to our objects, but focus on understanding their aesthetic and historical significance as well as their social relevance

About Me

My goal as an educator is to enlighten students to the vast and unique world around them, show students how to break down barriers, and most importantly help them to become independent thinkers. I am passionate about education because it not only opens opportunities for students in the future, but it also has the power to change the perspective they have of themselves and the world around them.
