Dear Dos Caminos Community,
Please take a moment to look through the DCS yearbook. In viewing, I am reminded of the incredible year that took place at our school. The celebration of our day-to-day activities and friendships are highlighted throughout. I look back fondly on so much from this year - the school carnival, class projects, plays, field trips, AVID, College Thursdays, YMCA PE, PTA Art Reflections, Career Day, Women in History Week, AVID partnership with Adolfo Camarillo High School, Read Across America, Kindness Week, Junior Optimist Club, family fun nights and class lessons from our teachers that were so engaging we did not want the lessons to end.
This year brought us new things including - new murals, new classroom furniture, new playgrounds, new heaters, air conditioners, gardens and many new friends. It also brought us new challenges with school days cancelled due to fire and finishing the year at home in distance learning due to COVID-19. Through it all, we have shown the same commitment and determination to reach our goals.
I am proud of how the Dos Caminos community has responded to positives and challenges with - DCS Determination - and am excited to see what the future holds for the children in our care.
Wishing you a safe summer full of fun adventures.
