Family Update 9/22/2023

Happy Fall PVSD Families!

Our students had a great week and we hope that you did, too.

If you are looking for something fun to do this afternoon, join me in cheering on Las Colinas, Monte Vista, and PVSEA Cross Country teams at Camino Real Park in Ventura. We have our own Las Colinas teacher Ron Spiker to thank for coordinating cross country competitions for the benefit of all of west county students. Be there by 3:45pm to catch the start of the races.

Please see the important updates below.

There will be no school on Monday, September 25th in observance of Yom Kippur. Wishing peace and goodness to those who mark this holiday and to all a restful weekend.

Sincerely,

Dr. Danielle Cortes

Superintendent of Schools

Important! Re-Enrollment and School Benefits

If you have not done so, please complete re-enrollment for each of your children enrolled in PVSD. Part of re-enrollment is the school benefit form. This form allows qualified families to receive a variety of student benefits.  For more information about these benefits, click here or fill out the form directly HERE.  Our ability to provide supports related to reading intervention, counseling services, and enrichment is impacted by the completion of these forms. For families who qualify for school benefits, students qualify for no-cost Expanded Learning Opportunities including childcare. If you are interested in accessing Expanded Learning Opportunities, email bharris@pleasantvalleysd.org or call 805-389-2100 X1125Thank you for completing re-enrollment as soon as possible!
